MAKE WAY, MORE POWERFUL BMW M CARS ARE COMING
The Australian Which Car had a conversation with Mr. Markus Flasch, head of BMW M, and so the official had some interesting things to reveal about the long term nature of the nickname M.
One of them relates to the extent of the future energy M cars will offer. PS: that's rich for the gearhead community.
Mr. Flasch believes that success must be better than the character of the predecessor.
Sounds ambitious, doesn't it? Well, this credo, if we're going to call it that, is based on the assumption that "M is that the exaggeration of what BMW stands for, in terms of driving pleasurerms. M supplements BMW and it manages to stay this way.
But what does this mean exactly? Furthermore, the M division is confident that it can exploit this extra power as well as find ways to regulate it, in order to form the M brand accessible to all.
In this respect, Markus Flasch believes that power is nothing without control as BMW M can deliver an M5 with 625 horsepower, for example, which will be driven by its mother in winter. Therefore, we should not expect a limit of influence.
